M E R L O T :
Grape-bunch: pyramid shaped, with two wings well in evidence.
Grape: spherical, very resistant of blue-black colour. Pulp with an herbaceous taste.
Wine:
vinification is done with the peel and a successive passage in big wooden barrels for about three months. Intense violet colour, strong perfumes with a marked fragrance of raspberry and blackberry, slightly herbaceous taste.
Gastronomic accompaniments:
recommended for red meat, roast meat, poultry, rabbit and medium-seasoned cheese.
Serve at cellar temperature: 16-18°C.
